ProStraw Systems was founded in 2016 by Suffolk Farmers Paddy and Will Reed.Â
They have worked in the agricultural sector for many years, and in more recent times have been utilising their vast knowledge and experience in developing systems and bespoke solutions tailored towards the straw industry.
Having continually experienced the frustrations and expense of water-wasted straw bales, the father and son team set about designing a unique mechanised sheeting system that would cover straw-stacks safely, and protect their valuable stock from the worst of the wet weather. Their method of application was launched to great acclaim at the ‘Cereals’ industry event in 2016, and so ProStraw Systems was born.
As well as Paddy and Will’s long-time core businesses of Agricultural Contractors and Straw Merchants, they are also the exclusive importers of Parkland Bale Accumulators throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. This new technology has been designed with controlled traffic farming in mind, and could revolutionise your harvest-time regime saving you both time and money.
