LAMMA 2026

LAMMA is always a key date in the agricultural calendar, and this year’s show proved once again why it is one of the most important events for machinery, innovation and practical on-farm solutions. For ProStraw Systems, LAMMA 2026 was an outstanding success from start to finish.
Over the two days we experienced excellent footfall and, more importantly, had meaningful conversations with farmers, contractors and industry professionals from across the sector. It was encouraging to meet so many people who are actively looking for better, more efficient ways to protect their straw, improve safety, and reduce waste on farm.

Stack Sheet Covers – The Solution Farmers Have Been Looking For

Without doubt, one of the highlights of the show was a response from a new customer to our Stack Sheet Covers: “This is exactly what we’ve been looking for.”

Straw wastage from poorly protected stacks is a costly and frustrating problem that many farms simply accept as unavoidable. Seeing first-hand how our Stack Sheet Covers provide a practical, reliable solution clearly struck a chord. The feedback we received reinforced what we already know, protecting straw properly isn’t just about tidiness, it’s about preserving value, reducing waste and improving efficiency across the farm.

The level of interest and the quality of the discussions around this product was a real highlight for the team.

Agripro Line Master – Safety First in the Field

We have been working hard to spread awareness of the Agripro Line Master and its role in improving safety for farmers and contractors. At LAMMA, we noticed a significant shift in how people are viewing this machine.

More and more visitors recognised that this isn’t simply a helpful piece of equipment, it is quite literally a life saver. The conversations around operator safety, staff welfare and reducing risk during various agricultural tasks were some of the most important discussions we had across the two days.

It is clear that safety is becoming a higher priority across the industry, and we are proud to be part of that movement.

The Parkland Bale Accumulator – Efficiency in Action

Our Parkland Bale Accumulator also generated strong interest from those looking to improve efficiency during bale collection and handling.

Contractors in particular were keen to see how it can streamline operations, save time, and reduce labour requirements during busy periods.

LAMMA 2026 was a fantastic show for ProStraw Systems and we would like to thank everyone who stopped by the stand. We are already looking forward to returning next year with an updated stand.

Will Reed’s Krone Big Pack 1290 HDP Gen 5 – Farmers Weekly

Now in its fifth generation, the Big Pack 1290 HDP is Krone’s answer to high-density, six-string baling.

It’s the frontline machine of choice for Suffolk straw merchant Will Reed of Pro Straw Systems, who also has an older Gen 4 in his armoury, as well as a 120×120 Massey Ferguson 2190.

Most of the firm’s straw is bought by the bale and sold by the tonne, with 6,000t going to Snetterton power station and the rest sold to domestic and export markets.

Whilst the annual Cereals Event at Chrishall Grange has been cancelled this year, the organisers have taken the industry event on-line instead.

Cereals LIVE 2020 Virtual Event will take place on the show’s original dates, 10th and 11th June.

We will be hosting our own microsite on the main Cereals LIVE website. A Hectic Start To The 2019 Show Season For ProStraw Systems

Our 2019 season back on the road has started in earnest, and we covered several hundred miles across a very busy February week. The start of the show season included our very first visit to the Republic of Ireland. As well as the three-day Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association show in Co. Kildare, we returned to the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show. Two shows in two countries in the space of just four days!
Many people came to visit us at the York Auction Centre and Punchestown Event Centre, and we were hugely appreciative of the support and interest in our ProStraw stack cover sheet and Parkland Bale Accumulator displays.
We’ll be back out on the road again in the early summer at the following shows. We look forward to seeing you then.

VIPs visit ProStraw Systems at the Suffolk Show

It was ProStraw Systems very first time exhibiting at the Suffolk Show in 2018, and we were honoured to welcome Baroness Byford, a member of the House of Lords and former Opposition Parliamentary Spokesman for Food, Farming and Rural Affairs from 1997 to 2007, to our stand during the first day of the show.

The Baroness’ passion for the countryside continues in her current role as President of the Suffolk Agricultural Association, and she took time on her tour of the Trinity Park Showground to talk to our very own Paddy Reed about his innovative ProStraw stack cover sheet system, as well as discussing the current issues facing the straw industry.

ProStraw Systems are delighted to be your local stockists of the Balemaster and Grainmaster Protimeters from Martin Lishman.

The Protimeter Balemaster is a two-piece hand-held unit and 600mm moisture probe that really stands up to heavy farm and industrial use. Pressure can be used to force the probe into tough bales, without risk to the instrument. The meter measures the moisture within the heart of the bale and determines if your straw is in a safe condition to store. Optional temperature probe is also available.

The Protimeter Grainmaster measures the moisture content in your grain. The unit is supplied in a hard carry case with operational and protective accessories. An optional 1.5m probe is available to measure the moisture and temperature of grain in storage. There is also a downloadable Protimeter App available for iOS and Android.
